The speakers include:
Janet Judge, president of Sports Law Associates LLC, where she brings her legal and diverse collegiate athletic experiences to the table when advising and representing colleges and universities on a wide variety of employment and sports-related issues.
Peter G. Land, partner of Franczek Radelet P.C. in Chicago, Illinois. He has been focused on representing institutions of higher education since 1995 in a wide array of litigation and counseling matters, with an emphasis on employment litigation.
Tracy B. Mitrano is the director of IT Policy and the Institute for Computer Policy and Law at Cornell University. Currently she is on the boards of the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education, Teach Privacy, Cornell Daily Sun (the independent student newspaper at Cornell University), the Tompkins County Broadband Committee, Tompkins County Public Library and is co-chair of the Hawkins Leadership Roundtable for EDUCAUSE.
This program will benefit counsel who advise institutions on the legal aspects of social media use by faculty, administrator, staff and students, as well as information technology, human resources, student affairs and athletic department administrators with responsibilities related to institutional social media policies and social media use.
