Moundville Archaeological Park is hosting a Gourd Creations Class. Students will learn about the various historical and modern uses for gourds before beginning their own masterpieces. With a variety of different natural materials, paints, and pigments at their disposal, students will work on two different projects--a container of their choice as well as a gourd mask. Please call (205) 371-8732 be fore January 14 to register. There is a limit of 20 spaces, so call early to reserve your spot.
