Dr. Jahan Ramazani, Edgar F. Shannon Professor of English at the University of Virignia, will give the lecture "Poetry's Dialogue with its Others" on Wednesday, February 13 at 3:45 p.m. in 208 Gordon Palmer Hall.
Ramazani is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, NEH fellowship, Rhodes scholarship, William Ridley Parker Prize, and the Thomas Jefferson Award. He is the author of several books and is the editor of the Norton Anthology of Modern and Contemporary Poetry and The Norton Anthology of English Literature.
There will be a reception following the lecture. The event is free and open to the public.
