This is the 3rd annual conference organized by graduate students from the Modern Languages and Classics.
The theme of this year's conference is:
Redefining Borders: Bridging the Gap between Languages, Literatures, and Cultures
The keynote speakers featured this year are Profs. Hafid Gafaiti (Texas Tech University) and Thomas Deveny (McDaniel College.)
The sessions will run concurrently in 3 (maybe even 4) rooms with Spanish litterature and linguistics, French litterature and linguistics, German, and general linguistics and applied linguistics panels. Some of these panels will be in a foreign language while others will be in English.
Participants represent various departments across the University of Alabama, as well as other universities around the United States and a few participants from outside the country.
There is no participation fee for the audience, so come and check it out!
