The Southeast Guild of Book Workers, in collaboration with the MFA in the Book Arts program, has installed its annual exhibition in Gorgas Library at The University of Alabama. This year's theme is Patterns. Participants submitted a wide variet of interpretations on this theme. Jessica Peterson of The Southern Letterpress was the juror. The exhibit is located on the 2nd floor by room 205 and in the 5th floor lobby of the School of Library and Information Studies. It is installed now through the end of January. A formal closing reception is scheduled for January 29.

The Guild of Book Workers is a national organization that is over 100 years old. The Guild's mission is to promote interest in and awareness of the tradition of the book and paper arts by maintaining high standards of workmanship, hosting education opportunities, and sponsoring exhibits.
