Prof. Naomi Goldenberg, University of Ottawa, will give a lecture. Prof. Goldenberg is a professor of Religious Studies and former director of Women's Studies at the University of Ottawa. Goldenberg addresses the intersection of religion with gender, politics, popular culture and psychoanalysis. Her awards include the 2004 William C. Bier Award for her contribution to the psychology of religion.
Her lecture is part of the Relevance of the Humanities & Social Sciences lecture series, which is sponsored by the College of arts and Sciences and the Department of Religious Studies.
