Are creative lectures permissible? I have a story that retells the story of Eve from Eve's point of view and in her voice, a story that investigates (and complicates) Christian mythology and gender ideology, entitled "Ever After." The story is Eve's first person account of the burden of being the second person on Earth, the figure held accountable for mortality, the first wife and mother, and the first person to die. It recently appeared in The Fairy Tale Review.
