Purpose: This form is used for campus organizations to register on campus events including, but not limited to, cultural, academic, and social events.
Social events include parties, swaps, band parties, formals, receptions, theme parties, and social activities in Greek houses, residence halls, and other facilities.
Registering: Organizations registering on-campus events must submit this completed form, applicable additional forms, and all applicable fees to the Office of the Dean of Students, 230 Ferguson Center, at least 10 business days before the event, 5 days for events in Greek houses. All student organizations must be registered with the Office of the Dean of Students. Submission of this form does not imply registration has been accepted. All registrations will be processed and the individual responsible for coordinating the event will be contacted via email regarding the status of the request, as well as all pertinent instruction regarding policies and procedure that may affect the proposed event. Fees for University services may apply. Registration of an event does not constitute an endorsement or approval of the group by the University. Further, registration does not constitute an acceptance of any responsibility for, or duty to regulate, the conduct of a group or its members, at the event or otherwise. All groups and members are primarily responsible for their own actions and activities.
